About Christine

Hi there, my name is Christine, and I’m in the business of helping people.

At the age of 44 after decades in the corporate world, I realized that I was not living each day to my full potential. After all, if you’re going to work 40+ hours a week for most of your life, shouldn’t you love what you do? So, I went on a mission to find out what excited me. I did some soul searching on what I am passionate about, what fulfills me and how I can make a difference in this world. I came up with helping people. So, I went back to school at the University of Dayton and graduated with my masters in Education with an emphasis in Counseling in 2015.

I am able to help clients with any mental health issue; however, I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, existential crisis, emotional regulation and couples counseling. I am an integrative therapist that uses different interventions based on your unique needs. I has been trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Processing), trauma focused, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions, but will pull in Person Centered, Behavioral, Affective, Motivational Interviewing and Psychoanalytic interventions as well. I provide services that include individual, couples, family and group therapy for adults and couples.

I enjoy presenting to large groups of people on topics of anxiety, depression, stress management and the Cognitive Behavioral Model. I enjoy teaching others and believe that the more people I help, the better off the world will become.

I have a down to earth, easy going attitude, which makes it easier to connect with you, which is vital for a successful therapeutic relationship. My passion is to help people navigate life’s twists and turns. I will take a look at your life, figure out all the moving pieces and parts and put them back together, like a jigsaw puzzle.

While many of my clients come to visit me because of a certain situation or event in their life, please do not feel like you have to experience certain things in life to need or want counseling. Anyone can be struggling with mental health issues and everyone should feel comfortable when they reach out for help.

If you need help, please reach out to a professional. If you don’t click with the first one, find another. I have seen first hand what a therapeutic relationship can do for people.

You Are Worth The Fight

I purposefully cap my number of clients so that I can create a safe and personal experience for each client. While I am not currently accepting new clients, I would still love to hear from you! To join my client waitlist, please share your name and email address.
